Cactuar Guide

Our happy friends from Final Fantasy haven’t failed to find us in this one. Final Fantasy X-2 has an entire side quest devoted to the pointy little guys. For centuries the great cacti have lived peacefully, forming the Cactuar Nation on Bikanel Island. In Chapters 3 and 5, a great evil threatens both the Cactuar Nation and the diggers, and the only way to save everyone is to find the 10 Gatekeepers and convince them to return home, but beware: they don’t all want to come home.

Note: To score free loot, shoot the treasure chests/pots that appear with Lobeira or Bartschella.

Cactuar 1 - Lobivia:

Bikanel Desert: Go to the Oasis section and Lobivia will be there on the side.

Cactuar 2 - Toumeya:

Besaid: Sitting on the beach.

Cactuar 3 - Lobeira:

Guadosalam: Inside a chest in Chateau Leblanc’s treasure room.

Cactuar 4 & 5 - Areq & Arroja:

Calm Lands: Near the entrance to Gagazet, this pair is living it up on chocobos.

Cactuar 6 - Islaya:

Thunder Plains: In the Northern section of the Thunder Plains (the side that exits to Macalania), she is by a Cactuar Stone.

Cactuar 7 - Chiapa:

Kilika Forest: On the eastern side of the path there will be a place you can jump up onto a tree. There you will find Chiapa.

Cactuar 8 - Erio:

Gagazet: Sitting on the Mountain Trail (where you fought Seymour the second time in Final Fantasy X).

Cactuar 9 - Bartschella:

Kilika: Hiding in Dona’s house.

Cactuar 10 - Frailea:

Bikinel: Inside the Cactuar Hollow at the end of the cavern.
