Crimson Spheres

Littered throughout Spira are 10 Crimson Spheres, each of which contains a video concerning the Crimson Squad. Collect all 10 spheres to get alook into Paine’s past. Once you have all 10, you may enter the Den of Woe.

Crimson Sphere 1:

Chapter 3, Bevelle: After visiting Kilika and dealing with the problems in the temple but before visiting Djose, go to Bevelle. Go deep below the temple to the hole that Vegnagun escaped from. Once you get out onto the platform, you’ll be ambushed by a Malboro. After defeating it, the Crimson sphere will be laying in the center of the platform.

Crimson Sphere 2:

Chapter 3, Farplane: No need to worry about this one, it’s given to you at the end of chapter 3.

Crimson Sphere 3:

Chapter 3, Farplane: No need to worry about this one, it’s given to you at the end of chapter 3.

Crimson Sphere 4:

Chapter 3, Guadosalam: Enter the mansion and proceed to the room behind the secret panel that has a circular door. Use the box to climb up onto a hidden ledge. Walk (on the ledge) around until you find a chest; Crimson Sphere 4 is inside.

Crimson Sphere 5:

Chapter 4, Airship: After Yuna’s performance in the Thunder Plains, go to the engine room before speaking to Shinra. Speak to the visitor there to receive Crimson Sphere 5. Only after receiving this sphere, speak to Shinra.

Crimson Sphere 6:

Chapter 5, Via Infinito, Cloister 0: When you can in Chapter 5, go to Bevelle Temple. Just after entering, go to the room on the right where the Kinderguardians have discovered the portal into Via Infinito. Watch the scene at Cloister 0 to receive Crimson Sphere 6.

Crimson Sphere 7:

Chapter 2, Mushroom Rock Road: Take the path down to the entrance to the Den of Woe; Nooj will be waiting. Speak to him to receive Crimson Sphere 7. Note: it does not matter to whom you gave the “Awesome Sphere” at the beginning of Chapter 2.

Crimson Sphere 8:

Chapter 5, Via Infinito, Cloister 20: Once you get down to Cloister 20, there will be a boss fight. After defeating him, Crimson Sphere 8 will be lying in the center of the room. Don’t leave without grabbing it, though, since this is your only chance.

Crimson Sphere 9:

Chapter 1, Mushroom Rock Road: Take the path down to the entrance to the Den of Woe where Logos and Ormi are. As they retreat, they drop Crimson Sphere 9.

Crimson Sphere 10:

Chapter 2, Guadosalam: After finding the secret pathway in Chateau LeBlanc, go to Logos’ bedroom and find Crimson Sphere 10 on a shelf.
